Is It A Good Time To Buy A Home?
With properties starting to sit on the market and be negotiated, along with interest rates continuing to climb, I thought it was right to share my advice.
It is probably a more favorable time for a buyer to enter the market now than since C-19 began. Once the sticker shock of the rates wears off, buyers will start to be more prevalent in the marketplace. The market is not stagnant by any means, there are always people needing to transact due to life changing circumstances but, the buyer pool that was looking to capitalize on high equities and or historically low rates, will start again once the dust settles.
My advice would be to work with the right lender and select an agent that works diligently to ensure that you are not only protected, but one who can negotiate the most favorable terms all-while maintaining great communication and ethical integrity. As for the rates continuing to climb, you can somewhat hedge against the rate increase with competitive loan products that are being offered today. If the rate seems too unfavorable, you can always refinance out of it sometime in the future when they come back down. Remember, the inflation rate on rent is 100%.
